Refund & Cancellation Policy

Summary: a first-time subscriber may request a refund within 30 calendar days of the initial purchase, and we will refund all subscription charges made during that 30-day period. Cancelling is as simple as sending us an e-mail.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all DefShield VPN subscriptions purchased through defshieldvpn.app. It supplements your statutory rights as a consumer, which are not affected.

2. 30-day money-back guarantee

A first-time subscriber may request a refund within 30 calendar days after the initial purchase. Where the request qualifies, we will refund all subscription charges made during the first 30 calendar days after the initial purchase, regardless of how much you have used the Service.

The guarantee applies once per customer and payment method. It does not apply to fraudulent purchases, to accounts terminated for violating the Terms of Service, or to repeated purchase-and-refund activity.

3. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the e-mail address associated with the purchase. Include:

"Refund request" in the subject;
the e-mail address used for purchase;
the transaction or invoice number, where available.

We acknowledge every request within two business days and process approved refunds within five business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. The time required for the refund to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank, typically 5–10 business days.

4. Charges after the first 30 days

After the initial 30-day guarantee period, payments are generally non-refundable unless:

required by applicable law;
the charge resulted from a technical or billing error on our side;
the Service was unavailable for an extended period due to a fault on our side;
we approve the refund at our discretion.

If you forgot to cancel before a renewal, contact us within 7 days of the renewal charge — we will normally cancel the subscription and refund that renewal provided the Service has not been used since the charge.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time by emailing [email protected] from the address associated with your subscription with "Cancel subscription" in the subject. We confirm cancellation within one business day.

Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. Access remains available until the end of the period already paid for, after which your configuration files stop working. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date shown in your dashboard.
